Creative Thinking

The Island Institute has a vast store of knowledge accumulated from over two decades of supporting the island and working-waterfront communities of Maine. We also recognize, however, that communities are continually changing and developing new needs that require innovative and creative thinking.  Our staff can offer support to coastal and island community members by providing institutional knowledge of previous initiatives, as well as by developing programs or community-based initiatives that incorporate research to evaluate various needs.
